Golden Globes

I knew Heath would win. I knew it. But what I didn't know was how I would react. I'm sitting her crying, not just sniffling, but full on crying. He should be here. He should get to stand up and accept this award for a performance he did so beautifully. When I watched 10 Things... day after day that summer when I was 16, I knew he would grow to greatness. Awards aren't everything, but for this.... This is something he should have been here for. Something he should have known and celebrated. Life really isn't fair sometimes, but for reasons unknown to us it is the way it is.

I've never been this emotional about a celebrities death. It's a been almost a year and I still can't come to comprehend it.

I feel kind of silly saying all this, but I guess you cannot help the way you feel.

I wish he was there to receive the award too. He really does deserve to be up there himself. He did such an amazing job with the role. Simply amazing. My eyes teared up pretty much from the moment they said his name.

I still can't comprehend it either. :(

I knew he was going to win it, too. There's no way they were going to pass him up for that award.

He should be there. I...can't even say anything else, except that he should be there.

*hugs you so tight*

Sadly, I can't help but wonder if he would have won it had he still be alive. Of course he played a PHENOMENAL Joker, but comic book type movies have never been taken seriously in award categories. Perhaps Heath will help change that though.

Oh Bonnie. *super deluxe huge hugs* I feel exactly the same way you do - there's no shame in it at all.

Did you happen to see the People's Choice Awards the other day and just the utter look of complete sorrow on Christian's face when he spoke and accepted the award on Heath's behalf? Talk about heart breaking!

Life really isn't fair in the fact that it takes those who are so unique and extraordinary and they just get snatched away from us all too soon.

:)

I'm so glad that at least he got what he deserves.

*snuggles* I'm the same, took me five minutes into Knight's Tale to well up.
