Order of the Pheonix

[livejournal.com profile] gremmie_goo and I went out tonight and had a nice time having dinner, looking at books and finally getting to see HP: OotP.

SIRIUS/LUPIN!!! ;asldkfj;alsdifjua;osewifju;alxdkfjs;adlfjds

Not enough sadly. ;__; Ah, well, we got lots of Sirius (too bad he kinda had to die. I was hoping they'd change that bit at the end).

TWINZ!!!!! :D ILU!!!

LOVED Luna. She was just perfect.

Umbridge. Beh. Hated her, which I guess is a good thing because I hated her in the book. Good acting.

Voldie pwn'd.

Despite this movie being severly 'watered down' from the book, I really enjoyed it. I knew I couldn't expect everything in it, otherwise I'm sure it would be 5 hours long (not that I'd mind since it's my favourite).

[eta] Y'know, I think I may just tag every entry with 'crazy gary oldman'. :P

The movie was good, but they are so SCREWED when they get to Deathly Hallows, considering a couple of the major plotpoints they completely ignored/left out. I cannot even fathom how they plan to rectify the mistakes they made. Bah. Damn you, Steve Kloves, for bailing out on us. My poor mum has had to hear me rant about (...three things in particular) ever since this movie came out.

That said, I loved the beautiful cinematography, the music, and the acting - which was incredible. The kids get better and better and the adults, as ever, are perfection.

I'm guessing you're referring to the coins? Yeah, that bugged me. I'm super tired, so I can't remember the other key plot points the left out for Deathly Hallows... - wait, the locket was one, too.

We needed more Lupin.

Yeah, I think this one and Azkaban are my favourites.
