Today I finally saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2. It was incredible and I felt like my heart was in my throat the entire time. I had a couple of issues with it, but overall it was beautiful. I went in expecting to feel emotional, but when Harry went into the forest to face Voldemort and everyone appeared, well, I just broke down. That part of the books always gets me as well, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Also, Neville and McGonagal were BAMFs x a billion. Seriously.

Tomorrow is my first day of university. For those of you who may not know I am taking a three year course in graphic design and illustration. I've been having anxiety attacks all week about it, so things have been a bit emotional. It's not so much that tomorrow I start school, tomorrow I start my life. Like, my life. Those of you who've known me all these years know that it's been a struggle for me for many different reasons. It's more of moving forward for me and just me. These are things that should have happened shortly after high school, but they didn't. It's taken me 10 years to get here and of course I'm going to be a bit nervous. I'm also super excited. After orientation tomorrow morning I have my first class: photography for designers I. I also get a brand new Nikon camera, so the added bonus of a new toy is exciting.

So yes, tomorrow is nerve wracking for me for several reasons, but I think I'm ready.

I was hoping to finally see Harry Potter: DH2 tonight, but sadly my plans were shattered into a million tiny little shards of.... IDK, I'll just copy what I wrote on my Tumblr. :P

So the showing of HP:DH2 I wanted to see was sold out and it’s the only 2D version that seems to be playing in my area.

Sunday night I watched the first episode of The Walking Dead on AMC... ( minor spoilers if you haven't seen it )

I've been rereading some of the Harry Potter books before the movie comes out in a couple of weeks. I finished rereading Deathly Hallows for the first time since it came out and it felt like I was reading it for the first time again, I honestly had forgotten so much. I am very excited for the new movie and will definitely go see it. HBP is the only Harry Potter movie I never saw in theatres and it was one of the best ones, I think.

Tonight I have to go into work and when I do I'll see the whole store decked out for Christmas. I really am not looking forward to Christmas or to see Christmas stuff yet, but sadly when you work in retail you get little choice. D:

My parents are finally getting divorced. *pops champaign* They separated when I was 15, and they're just now starting to put the official paper work through.

The manager at the bookstore gave me one of their extra Harry Potter promo shirts. It's got all the listings of when each book was released on the back, kinda like one of the shirts you buy of a band on a concert tour. I got the first three books for Christmas in '99 and remember when Goblet of Fire came out that summer. My daddy took me to the bookstore to get it. :) And then a day later a copy arrived in the mail from my Aunt in Victoria and dad took the copy he got me back. :P

On a non related SPN note: I now have 'The Book'. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. I haven't cracked it open yet, but I will later. I want to take my time with it like I did with all the others. I enjoy just reading it like any other book, not just in one sitting. The only time I would do that is if I were at the cabin where I can go through one or several books a day.

Apparently last night at work was insane. Within six hours they did over $2000 worth of business and nearly 800 Frappuccinos. Freaking crazy. Apparently the store was so overloaded that the registers crashed and one side was useless for about an hour. LOL We're the slowest store on the North Shore, but on Harry Potter night it's busiest and I guess all the equipment freaked.

Oh, I'm going as a Witch dressed as a Muggle. I'm going to wear my Vampire Sponge Bob T-shirt, rainbow socks, rubber duckies on my jeans and have these big flowers in my hair with a wand. :D I'd wear a tea cosie, but I'd probably be too hot in it.

Unless you've been living under a rock then you know that the new HP comes out in a little less than 34 hours (omfgyay!!!!). The Starbucks I work at is in a book store (think Canada's version of Barnes & Noble) and tomorrow will be a tad scary. The book part of the store looks awesome. It's all Potter-ized and tricked out.

ANYHOO, the book store is open until 2am tomorrow night, but I open tomorrow, so I don't have to worry about staying as long. Our manager has given us permission to dress up for the release of the book. My problem is that I have a) no costume b) no money to make a costume. I wonder what I can do. The only conclusion I can come to is to go as Mrs. Figg, it would be a cool excuse to wear PJ's and rollers in my hair to work. :P I would have liked to be Tonks, but I need a pink or purple wig.

Supernatural is staying in it's Thursday timeslot. I honestly think they should have moved it, or at least temporarily to see if I could get more ratings and exposure. Obviously the CW cares enough to renew it, but doesn't want it to hold it's own on another day. Still, we're going to have a season three, so that's the main thing and I'm so happy about it.

Jensen wasn't at the Upfronts today (I want new pics!!!), apparently he didn't want to go because Jared is busy filming his new movie and couldn't attend. Awww, how sweet ~~they're so doing it~~. But I honestly think the poor guy is exhausted, those recent pics of him at the party showed him looking pretty tired. Rest up for season 3, Jensen!

I've started rereading Harry Potter: OOtP to refresh myself for the movie and then I'll move onto HBP to refresh for the last book. HBP is the only book I haven't read again, I guess because I wasn't that thrilled with it, but I'm sure when I start I'll enjoy it a lot.

OH! And on the work front, some you you may remember that they were going to close the store I'm at and I'd be going to the much busier one 3 blocks away? Well looks like they're going to be keeping us open for awhile! So I don't have to worry about working at another store.

Still no word on the kittens. :\

After listening to the new OLP album a couple of times, I now have a solid opinion on it.

I love it. I really do love it. They've changed, but they're still the same OLP. I love that. The music is somehow... lighter. That's the best word I can use to describe it. Not lighter as in 'easy listening', but yeah, there's something there that makes it good. I can tell the put their blood, sweat and tears into it. Hell, they almost broke up because of it (way to give me a heart attack, boys). This is definitely one of the best albums they've put out and I'm so happy.

There's a Harry Potter iPod out now. Dude! I'm all for themed iPods, but get to the LOTR ones already! I think the HP iPods would be coolers if they came in the house colours. Red with gold for Gryff, Silver and Green for Slytherin, ect. Am I right? I wouldn't pay $300 for just the engraving on it.

I phoned Staples about my laptop. It's been almost a month since I took it in, and you know what? THEY JUST ORDERED THE PARTS ON THE 6th!!! Why? They had to get bloody approval from the warranty people. OMG!!! You guys sure took your sweet ass time! Hopefully I'll have it next week.
