*facepalm*

Coda just set herself on fire.

Ok, well not fire fire, but every year for her birthday we put a candle in her dinner. Usually she just looks around like 'WTF?!' and backs off. I guess this year her tummy ruled over safety. The second I put the dish down with the candle she dug in, not caring about the bit of fire in her food. Now she has some singed eyebrow wiskers and a singed patch of fur on her head and she hasn't even noticed.

I... yeah. *facepalm*

Animals can be so smart, and yet so stupid sometimes.

And when they're stupid ... that's when we laugh. Heh.

ohh...poor kitty!

*chuckles* ...erm, sorry but it sounds like something my sisters dog would do!

Oh ow. LOL Well then ... guess candles won't phase her anymore, as long as they're in food XD

HA! My cat did that too once. I had a candle burning in my room and she sat down next to it and twitched her tail right against the flame; she's really furry too so the burned-out semi-circle in her tail was really obvious. I don't think she even noticed; I smelled something burning and looked up and was like "Aaaaah!" and *then* she ran away.
Anyways, Happy Birthday, Coda!

I;m surprised me cays haven't set themselves on fire yet. Specially Fergi. He's cute, but not the the brightest crayon in the box.

Awwwww!

Cats, they like to present themselves as the superior beings on the planet, but oh boy when they show their stupid side.

LMAO! Aww, poor kitty!

That kinda sounds like something my cat would do. When he was a kitten he climbed onto my mom's lap while she was eating some kind of soup with chicken in it, and he plunged his face into the bowl, grabbed a piece of chicken in his teeth, and ran off because he hadn't realized how hot soup is...

Woah, that's one ballsy (and beautiful) puddy tat to get that close to fire in the first place! My long-haired cat would look at me like I was on crack and then go puke on my bedspread for good measure. :P

...

*giggle*

As long as Coda's okay.

*sigh*
Cats?
The same thing happened to me two years ago.
One of my cats jumped up the stove and we use these open fire kinda stoves, not electrical ones.
I'm cooking dinner and turn my head for a few seconds and smell singed hair.
I turn around, my cat "Turnbull" is standing with her tail on the stove and the end of her tail is on fire.

Most funny and scary of all; she's oblivious to it all.
*shakes head*
Cats. Gotta love them.
