Saturday night I leave for the cabin, but I really don't feel like going. Maybe because I'll be gone for 8 days and dad and I will most likely be the only ones up there.

....

Hey, I could murder dad and there would be no witnesses. *plots* Now before anyone goes calling the cops it's called a joke.

I dunno, my heart just isn't in it, but I'm sure once I get up there I'll be ok. Just as long as we remember to buy that humane mouse trap, I really don't want to have that mouse on my bedside table again, it gets annoying.

Mum fell asleep driving today and I was completely oblivious to it. I was looking out the window when all of a sudden she slams on the breaks almost rear ending a truck. Apparently she took some muscle relaxants and had a Bellini for lunch, but when she had a Bellini she totally forgot she had taken the pills. Fun. If driving lessons weren't so expensive I'd probably have my learners now.

LJ Pet peeve

I don't see this happen very often on my FL, but today I've seen 3 posts like this in the past 5 hours and it's always been a pet peeve of mine on LJ.

What is it?

It's when a person posts icons or graphics or whatever in a community then say 'see the rest in my journal', but when you get there their journal is friends only. Make that post public for a short time if you want or something else. If you want to get friends just say so, don't pull annoying stuff like that.

And I'm not singling anyone out or pointing fingers at anyone, just something that has always bugged me.
