Backstreet Boys, Never Gone
Sep. 4th, 2005 01:51 amSo the concert? Fucking awesome. I loved it. I love them. I don't care what you may think of me or them, but it was awesome. For a few hours I was 15 again and just one big teeny. I screamed my lungs out, I sang the words to every song. I danced, I waved, I squeed and I may have wet myself. Ok, maybe not the last bit.
I'll always love BSB. They were my first boy band crush, actually my first band crush period. One summer all I listed to was BSB. Just them, that was it. I had posters and magazines and all that teeny stuff (actually I have all that for Orlando too... hrm. LOL), the second they came on stage I knew my love for them hadn't left. Stupid as it sounds, but it's true. I just felt so happy to see them all there and preforming, it was magic. And one of the things that made it even more special was that they looked like they were having a great time. It didn't feel like they were being 'mass produced' or forced into preforming. There wasn't that much glam and glitter (ok, there was fireworks), they didn't need cool costumes for it all. They were just running around on stage singing, dancing and making fun of each other. Holy crap did they sound good.
And when Kevin wiped a bit of sweat off of A.J.'s face, I think I almost fell over dead. Gah.
I love 'em, I don't care if you think I'm lame or their music is.
Even though Our Lady Peace has, and forever will be my #1, these guys will always be #1 to me on a totally different level.
I took 190 pictures of them and I'm happy to say I got some really good shots. My camera even died twice. Sadly I only brought one spare pare of batteries. Ah, well. Maybe

All round it was a great evening and I had a blast. It was so nice to get to meet

I'll post a couple more of the good photos tomorrow. Right now I am so tired and hoarse from screaming. :P
Oh, and before I go to bed, this is a picture from down south. I'm not exactly sure where, but it just brings a smile to your face when you see something like this:
Texarkana Humane Society | Noah's Wish | Humane Society
[eta] OMG! I forgot (again)! It's my dad's birthday today!!!1 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FASHAR.
