bunnylove: (Orlando Love)
I just took the last bit of money I had in my account and made a donation to one of the animal shelters/organizations down south. My heart just couldn't take it any more, so now I'm flat broke because of those furry guys. But I don't care. Some things were discussed over my dad's birthday dinner that I can't even comprehend, and I guess that's what sorta 'pushed me over the edge'.

Extra love to all my friends, not only because today is what it is, but because we never know what could happen.

Morbid enough for you? Good. LOL really, I mean that in the most positive way.

Just a heads up that the Elizabethtown press conference will be starting in a few minuets on Rogers TV.

They just did a bit on Beowulf and Grendel. *bounce*

You all remember Pepe, right? If you don't, you should.

Anyway, Pepe's peppers are doing really well, but I'm kinda unclear about the peppers. Do I wait until they fall off au natural? Or do I pick them? I don't want to freak Pepe out.

Thanks for any help!

[eta] Pick a Peck of Peppers
When picking peppers from the plant choose those that have shiny skin and are firm to the touch. If you need to pull on the plant to remove the pepper, it's not ready to be picked. The stems of peppers ready for picking will detach easily from the plant. To avoid damaging pepper plants, however, it's best to cut the peppers off with a knife or shears.

Hrm, to yoink or not to yoink. That is the question.

eep.
