Viva Las Vegas
Jun. 2nd, 2010 07:29 pmI cannot believe that in less than two weeks I'll be going to Vegas and my birthday (I'll be 26! Eeek!). It kinda snuck up on me. Dad came over the other day with the flight info and I guess it made it more real. The only thing that sucks is that our flight going there was changed and now we have a connection in Seattle for 3 hours. I've never been to Seattle, but I'll get to see the airport!
For anyone who has been to Vegas before or lives in/nearby; what are some good stores, sites, things to do there? Granted I'm there for less than three days, but is there anything that I should check out while I'm there? I'll be with my dad so unfortunately it can't be anything too risqué (I'd feel awkward going anywhere with him like that LOL). Also for my US friends, where are good places to buy DVD's? I know about all the major stores (Best Buy, WalMart ect.), but are there any places that sell DVD's cheap that I may not know about?
My first vacation in... I can't remember how many years, so I'm excited. Even though I don't have a lot to spend (thankfully dad is picking up the tab for everything else), I know I'll have fun. I also want to be that annoying tourist and go to Caesars Palace and ask them if Caesar really lived there.
