Why does it always rain on me?

Yesterday I forced mum to take me to a doctor, I couldn't wait until Thursday. I'm not better at all, if not worse. Anyway, she took me to the clinic because my regular doctor was in surgery and he thinks I now have RVC (respiratory viral something...) and it can take 6-12 WEEKS to clear up. *sobs* So, now I have some Tylenol 3's to help my coughing.... I have been having the worse nights sleep, so that doesn't help matters.

Mum just checked our voice mail and they said that I can have my surgery March 2nd. Meep. That is if I'm better. We're keeping my appointment with my regular doctor tomorrow, we'll be getting the final say (hopefully) of what the hell I have and if it'll take 6-12 weeks for me to get better, and also see if it would be safe to have my surgery so soon.

This just fucks things up job wise even more if I'm going to be this sick for so long. We're so broke it's not even funny.

[edit] I just had a very nice convo on the phone with a well respected and awesome doctor and he thinks I don't have RSV (that's what it's called lol), and not take 6-12 weeks to get better. So I'm feeling a lot better about things right now.
