Mum took me to the 12:30 showing of Harry Potter. We wanted to beat the kids that would be there tonight. I guess we were wrong. lol The theater wasn't full full, but there were still a lot of kids there. I wonder how many kids had dentist or doctors appointments when we went. :P
Mum and I arrived just in time for the lights to go down... and to our surprise the movie started right away. Yay, no commercials and shit. Then about 15 mins into the film the projector broke down. >.< So we had to wait for 10 minutes and then the movie started again. Right from the beginning. We didn't mind seeing the first bit over again, it just bugs me when shit like that happens during a good movie.
Gorgeous film. I loved it. I think the new director did a great job. I loved the look and the feel of it all. So much more darker.
I honestly couldn't remember what was left in the film or what was left out. lol Some parts I had to really think if it were in the book or not. I'm glad I didn't read the book before seeing this. It was like watching the story unfold fresh.
I am in love with Harry and Ron's hair. Those boys do not look 14. I think I'll be crushing big time one 'em when they turn 18. But right now it seems a bit weird for me. What do I tell people that I'm a (19, but will be 20 on the 15th) 20 year old girl perving on some 14 year olds? LOL So I'm just gonna perv over their hair, and how much I wanna hang out with Ron.
I love Hermione. She was great, and looked awesome too.
Sirius was awesome. Gary did a fantastic job, and I think they did great in picking him. I just wish there was more of him. Ah, well there's always GOF.
When I first heard/saw that David Thewlis was going to play Lupin. I had my doubts, because it wasn't the way I pictured him at all. But now I can't picture him any other way. He was awesome.
Ok, the Sirius/Lupin thang that everyone sees in the books (including moi), so much more better on screen. <3
Gred and Feorge! <3333333 Twins rock.
Lurved this version of Dumbledore.
Lurved Buckbeak. Where can I get my Hippogriff?
Malfoy. Liked his hair a lot better (what is it with me and their hair in this movie?), still wanted to bitch slap the little shit to the moon.
Ringwraiths Dementors were cool.
Snape rox.
Only nit pick for the film was that I think some scenes were a bit too short or moved too quickly. Needed more Quiddich too.
