Pick a penny up all day you shall have good luck

I think someone is trying to tell me something. I'm one of those people who believe in signs or some sort of higher power that give us guidance. Hell, after the car accident how can I not?

These past few days I have been finding pennies everywhere. When I walk to work, to the bus stop, at home and just in the oddest sort of places. Now we've all picked up change on the ground before, but does it happen everyday? It's weird. When I was cleaning up after my shift on Saturday and unhooking the cable from my computer to put back on my bosses PC, there was a penny behind his computer. No clue how it got there, but I found it very strange. Just now I found another penny on the coffee table. I swear it wasn't there earlier, or if it was I sure didn't notice it.

Someone may be trying to tell me something or it may just be that people are dropping their change wherever I go.

They're called "Pennies From Heaven", and the poem goes something like...

I found a penny today
just laying on the ground.

I believe in that stuff too. When my grandma died, my mom would wake up at 4 in the morning, every morning, always while having a dream about my grandma. And she'd smell something...I can't remeber what. Anywho, I believe in spirits and signs that they leave.

I've heard of them leaving money, dropping coins all over the place. Maybe someone's trying to tell you something...like maybe you'll have more luck in the future, or maybe even more money? I mean, I don't know how to read these kinds of things, but I believe in them too and I don't think it's a coincidence. I don't find that much change when I'm out and about!!

I believe in stuff like this, too. And maybe it is a sign that good luck is about to come your way. Heaven knows you deserve it, sweetie. There's a song I have by Idina Menzel called "Penny" and part of the chorus goes, "God, if you're listening, could you come up with some change? 'Cause I wake up every morning with a penny to my name." I hope some change comes up for you. *hug*

I have been picking up pennies too. Some times more than once a day. Some people don't like change.

I wonder what it means if you pick up nickles, dimes or quaters? More luck?

I'm with you on this one, everything happens for a reason. This means you have to pay closer attention to everything that happens for the next little while. I hope you find what you are looking for or what is looking for you. :)
