Yesterday and bought myself a Playstation 3 and Guitar Hero 3. Dad had put some money away for me six years ago and totally forgot about it and we just recently found out, so I decided to treat myself after I paid the bills. The place I got it from had them as a bundle, so it was an awesome price. I'm happy with it and all need is an HDMI cable for it because I refuse to game in nothing less than HD.

God, I've been such a HD snob. :P

I'm almost done watching season one Torchwood and I'm kind of toying with the idea of downloading season one of Doctor Who. I know some of you on my FL will be happy to hear this. ;) I'd buy the DVD's, but holy crap they are expensive. I will not pay $80+ for a show I have never seen before.

I've come to the definite conclusion that I am done with my job. My gut tells me it's over, I'm just not happy there anymore, plus with mum on disability she's just not pulling in the money anymore. I would really like to find something that will pay more than $12,000 a year, I can't live on it. As of August I'll have been there three years. I wish I could just quit, but like so many of us we do not have that luxury. I have to have something else lined up before I quit, because mum and I would never be able to survive more than a week or two without some income.

Oh I just finished Torchwood 1 last night. It was decent, some episodes weren't as hot. But IU still like it. Captain Jack/Ianto FTW :P
And nnnngh the kissing kills me so much.

You should download Doctor Who, I like it better than Torchwood and there are some episodes with Captain Jack, it helps you understand where he came from and who he is. (and there is also naked Jack)

If you're not happy there you should quit. *nods*

Did you know that you can set up your ps3 to be a media center on your tv??? You can play all your music and movies you download on your tv! I don't know how to do it, but Doug does.

I got 56% on Alice Cooper's 'Schools Out For Summer' on normal speed my first try. :D

Yay :) Season 2 of TW is WAY better than season 1. I'd say d/l the Jack episodes of DW, but there are also a couple neat little references to things if you watch all of season 1 of DW that come full circle in TW at the end of season two, and also come around in the season finale of Series 4 of DW.

BBC DVD's are extremely overpriced.

Heh, that's funny. Some guy talking to my doorman this morning had a new Playstation with him. How much do those things cost anyway?

No way could I get one. If I can get hooked on Solitaire I don't want to think about how crazed I could get over a Playstation or XBox or whatever.

Found money is great, was there enough for your graphics course too? My mom just found an account she forgot she had (I wish I could do that, the most I ever find is a stray bill in a mitten leftover from winter).

I agree with others that Season Two of Torchwood is better than Season 1. You should definitely download the Jack episodes from Season 1 and then the ones that take up where the end of Torchwood Season 1 leaves off, before you watch Season 2. Also, you'll notice a change in Jack in Season 2 that sort of, SORT OF, corresponds with the way he is on Doctor Who.

They start at $399 and go up from there. They used to be $699, so they've really dropped the price over the past couple of years.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough for my graphics course. I can't get the time off work anyway, so if there was I couldn't go anyway. Ah well, there's always the fall courses. :)

I've never seen s1 of Torchwood but I did see s2 and I enjoyed it! I also love Doctor Who!
