Of American Gods and Hobbits

American Gods may be a mini series on HBO. HBO + Neil Gaiman (with possible Tom Hanks) = FUCKING AWESOME! A co-worker and I both love Neil Gaimen and we had discussed that one movie wouldn't do justice to the book but a mini series would be best. When I first read AG it quickly became one of my all time faves.

Clearly the universe wanted this to happen. I mean, it would have been a good movie with Guillermo...but it wouldn't have been our movie. And by 'our' I mean 'the entire LOTR fandom that fell in love with the story because of how PJ, Fran, Phillippa, and WETA dreamed it.' <3

OMG American Gods!!!! Sucks that I don't have HBO, but that's what torrents are for. Ever since I read it I thought it would make an excellent movie/series. The same with Good Omens.
