Firstly: Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canucks!

Anyone here a fan of The Almighty Johnsons? I want to fangirl about it but no one that I know if watches it! *sad panda* I've been doing a bit of a spam over on my Tumblr with it.

I was honestly surprised how much I loved the show and I thought it was hilarious. Anything involving dysfunctional brothers as reincarnated Norse gods I am so there for. The guy who plays Axl is adorable and hilarious and of course it has Dean O'Gorman in it (naked, I may add) who I've had a crush on since I was about 15. :D I have the first season and if anyone is interested I could provide links a descriptive play by play of the first episode.

I've been wanting to make a proper update for a little while, but I'm so sick at the moment. I've been submersing myself in watching Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy inverviews for X:FC since they crack me up. James actually saying (jokingly) he had sex with Fassy four times was like something out of a fanfic come true.

The Johnsons are typical Kiwi blokes who don’t much like to stand out from the crowd. And everyday gods have everyday struggles - striving to love stroppy women, overcoming sibling rivalry and fulfilling your God-like destiny, all while still finding the time to enjoy a few beers with your mates.

What isn't mentioned there is that one of the brothers has to go on a type of 'quest' otherwise all of the others will die. But lots of hilarity and other things ensue as well. Plus some of the other gods and goddesses are just batshit crazy and awesome to watch.
