Tonight mum and I had to go baby sit Jackson. Dad is out driving until 1 am, so we had to go walk and feed him. We decided to take him to Steveston and have a bit of dinner. We just sat out on the pier looking at the sunset and the river wishing we were over at the cabin. Can you believe we haven't been able to go over yet? It's insane.
Anyway, while we were there this couple walked by with a chocolate lab, and it broke my heart. You could see every bone in its body. I'm not kidding. It's ribs were sticking out so far and its hip bones, spine, tail, everything. This poor thing looked like a walking skeleton. The people who were walking it rescued it and by the looks of it just in time. Poor baby, I hope it turns out alright. I just cannot understand why people do things like that? I took that with my camera phone. You'd think we'd been starving him or something. *rolls eyes* Anyway, i was too full after a while and gave him the rest of my chips thinking that would make him seem less pathetic. Nope. People kept walking by and laughing or going 'awwwwwwwww'.
It was a nice evening. I quite enjoyed it and so did Jack, but probably only because of the food.
