Bunny Love

I meant to post this yesterday, but I wanted to say thank you for all of you who commented with concern about Moe. He's fine, his ears did have mites in them, but not too bad. The vet gave him some drops and pills and put flea stuff on him. Apparently the flea drops will kill off the mites, his ears are looking better already.

Mum and I have a small-- two small problems on our hands. The baby skunks? Yeah, they love coming in the house now. Mum went to grab something from the laundry the other day and when she came in there was a baby skunk in the living room hoovering up crumbs. And just today while mum was in the bathroom Tinkerbell came running in and seemed spooked so when mum looked around the corner one of the skunks was heading to the living room and the other one was in the doorway. *facepalm* They're getting too brave. I mean raccoons are one thing, but skunks? If they get mad they'll let you know and the last thing we need is a skunk spraying in here. I guess we'll just have to make sure the door is shut tight all the time.

My mommy bought me a few balls of yarn today and some knitting booklets. <333 Although she says I'm not allowed to buy anymore yarn until I've used up half the stash I have now.

Who wants to see the new kitty I may be getting? Her name is Tinkerbell and she's such a cute little thing. gremmie_goo took me down to the North Van shelter and she was still there. Leann had emailed me Tinkerbell's profile awhile ago and I always kept her in mind and then when I saw her in person today I think I had a really good feeling about her. :) I've filled out an application for her and they're going to let me know.

And then Moe. I swear if Moe wasn't needing a single cat home I would have taken him today. He's just this huge (like really huge. Maybe 12-16 pounds) and he's such a sweetie, but there is still a chance that Moe will be in my life. You see I think I've found the perfect person for Moe, my dad. :P He's moving into a new place at the end of the month and I think Moe would be a perfect house warming 'gift'. Dad can't have a dog right now because he works weird hours and he doesn't have the time to devote to one right now. That's why I think Moe would be perfect for him. Moe would just be Moe and do whatever he pleases and dad could use some company. Jack has been gone almost a year now and I want dad to have someone to come home too.

Leann brought me some goodies from Alaska, even the polar bear I wanted. ^___^ Thanks again, hun. I'm going to find a place for my picture and I've put my key chain on my keys. :D

LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!!!!!!


I was walking up to the car with Leann and checked the mail and there it was!! I let out a huge gasp and I think I bounced down the walkway. VOTE PETRELLI!!!! I'm keeping it under the flap of my new purse because I don't want it to get damaged, that and I can just randomly go up to people and flash my button. LOL

Flower showed up the other night and I was able to get a somewhat decent picture of him/her. Here they are running away from me.



I want to see Pirates again.

Tonight we had our store holiday meeting. It was lots of fun, even though we had to sit through stuff we heard last year. I won two prizes, a box of black tea (my favourite) and a mug, and my secret Santa gift, $10 to the mall! YAY! Tomorrow we're allowed to dress up, so I'm going as a bunny.

When I got home there was an absolutely massive skunk in our back yard. I mean massive. I know most of it is fluff, but fuck this thing was huge. I ran after it trying to get a picture, but it was too dark. Then the skunk went into the bushes. :(

I've never switched layouts so fast as long as I've been on LJ. I really did like the other POTC layout I just had, but there were a few things that bugged me that I couldn't fix without having to recode the entire thing, and I just didn't feel like that. This layout I love! I was able to tweak everything to my liking tonight.

So this is what I got. Norrington Turner Sparrow. Because that? Is some nice pretty.

I've been pretty busy these past few days. Mum and I are currently doing a whole clean out of our place. We're just trying to de-clutter everything and we have a ton of clutter. Some area's you can't even walk in because we have so much crap.

I want to sell a few on my LOTR action figures. It hurts me to part with them, but I have no room for all, so I'm just going to keep the ones I really really love. Does anyone know a place where I could check out how much they're of value? I want to post some on eBay, or if anyone wants first dibs let me know (but I don't know what I'm selling quite yet).

Things are getting a bit better. I still get sad, but mostly now I'm happy that he's not suffering. It's been the hardest on my dad since Jack lived with him when my mum and dad split, but he's getting better. Mum and I are trying to convince him to get a fish for now. We may get him a dog for Christmas, but we'll see.

The skunk has been coming around again. I saw him going down our walkway and he was huge! Cute as hell though.

I'm worried about Coda. Over the past couple of days she's started pee'ing everywhere. On the rug, couch and floor. The thing is she still makes the box sometimes, so I'm wondering if she's sick or is just being lazy. I hope she's alright. Mum and I can't afford to take her to the vet and spend hundreds of dollars on tests. She does need to loose weight and we're working on that, but we're hardly seeing any results. Does anyone have any kitty diet suggestions?

A woman came by on Sunday and asked if I could do a survey with her about what kind of magazines I read, radio I listen to, ect. She gave me a huge booklet to fill out (more like just check off what applies to me) and she'll pick it up Wednesday. The best part? I get $30 for it! The booklet took me about an hour to fill out, so $30 for an hours work? Not bad. And it's legit. I have her card and I looked up the company on the intrawebs to make sure.
