The funeral was very nice and I didn't really have any reason to be nervous. I left feeling better than I did going in. I just feel so bad for the family. I grew up with their youngest son, we went to pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and high school together. Even though we drifted apart the last few years of high school we're still friends. He was the first boy I ever had a crush on (I was 6 and thought we would get married). I just can't imagine losing my dad so young and especially the way he did.
After the reception dad took mum and I out to lunch and then HMV. I got a gift card for christmas so I went and bought Garden State. I originally was planning to buy Pitch Black or Chronicles of Riddick, but PB was $40!!!!! WTF?! And COR was $30!!! Man, HMV sucks for DVD prices.
