Today was a really rough day. It was my first full 8 hour shift and it was also my first 'real' time on bar. God knows how many shots I fucked up. Then when it got slow B lined up 4 different drinks and wanted me to make them under 2 minutes.Two minutes later I was still steaming milk for one of the the drinks, I almost broke into tears. In fact I almost broke into tears 4 different times, but B was really nice about it. She's very stern when she wants you to learn something, but I don't take it personally, she's such a nice person. Sort of like McGonagall, only not as old and no magic. LOL

Now I'm home with one hell of a headache, espresso on my face and I'm going to eat dinner then Lost.

Eowyn killed a mouse today. :( Coda just slept on my bed and ate crunchies.

that's how it was for me when i started at the bakery, and they had me do a cake order for the first time. I was slow, and made us run behind on orders, and It just made me want to quit. But i've gotten better, and i know you will too ^.^

LOL It happened to an upstairs neighbour once. We quickly rodent proofed our dry goods, and then the mice just had fun making the cat chase them. :)

At least she was nice and not a total bitch about you not getting the drinks done in under 2 minutes. Plus, it takes time to learn how to make them. Just look at the job in a postive way (not saying you are not) and you will be ok. From what I have read so far, you are doing really well.

I have to go to Tennessee some time in the week of 10th of October. May have a job there!! I also got a call today from Virginia about my resume that I sent them. They are going to send me an application. I lied in the letter I sent them, told them a relative got a job there and I would like to look into looking for a job there before moving there. Do not have anyone there with a job. Just a way to at least get some kind of feedback from places that are looking or possibly looking for people. I keep sending my resume to places that are looking or not looking trying to find a job, but have only got replies back from four places. Only two who are actually sound interested in giving a job or possible.

I am trying to be postive. I need to find a job before the unemployment runs out mid next month or I am on the streets for real. I am really looking
