Stupid posters

While taking down the rest of my posters I managed to rip my Ever After poster and one of my Legolas posters. ;_; And they're not little rips either, they're big honkin'-in-your-face rips. I taped them up, but I still know the rips are there.

I can only manage about half an hour of packing before my back starts to really spasm. I still have no idea how we're going to move. Oh, well.

ATTENTION ANYONE LIVING IN AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND

I want to start saving for McLeod's Daughters DVD's, where is the best place to buy Aussie DVD's on the web? Thanks. :)

Eeek! I've done that too! In my door poster with Orlando on it, there are several tears. For some odd reason it chose to fall down, and I didn't notice and when I opened the bedroom door I tore it a little more *cries*

And on a few of my RotK posters there are tears :o( They may be small, but I know they're there, and there's a few of them, and GAH it drives me mental. Should have had them laminated or framed or something XD

As for your McLeod's Daughters DVD's... the best place to get anything in Australia is EzyDVD (http://www.ezydvd.com.au) *nods* <3

Yay, thanks for the tip. I'll start saving in a couple of weeks for the first season. This'll be the first time when I order something that it'll be cheaper for me. Only about $10 cheaper, but it's kinda fun. :P

How much does the season cost altogether? Something like $80-$90? Or a bit higher? I've never bought any season box sets before so I don't know the pricings...

What do you use to stick the posters up?

I recommend those little pull tab things(nice description huh?). I haven't had a bad experience taking any of my posters down. They play nice with them.

I use the little spongy sticker things. They're for posters and they're quite good, they don't rip them or anything.

make sure the regional coding is compatible to your DVD player!! it should say - region 1, etc etc or all region. *nods*

just a tip. have had bad results with anime once or twice.

well i've never used ezydvd so i wouldn't know, but atlanticdvd.com.au is normally pretty cheap. they have specials where you can get box sets for half price if you pre-order them, but you've got to keep an eye on the web site as the specials only go for a week or two at a time.

Ditto-ing what others have said about EzyDVD - I'd recommend them to anyone. Have never had any problems *knocks on wood* and they're fairly well priced... with some things. ;)
