Happy Boxing Day!

My Christmas was nice. Not the greatest. Not the worst. It was kind of weird not seeing my dad yesterday since he had to work, but mum and I are over here now and we just finished opening presents from him. Now we're going to have turkey dinner (yay! two nights in a row). I haven't had any lunch so I'm ready to eat.
Yesterday mum and I went to my aunts for dinner and pressies. Saw the family and my Grandma. We were having dinner and I asked her (my grandma) what she would like for her 90th birthday (it's in April) and she said, "A headstone." No, I'm not kidding! LMAO We all just cracked up.
Anyway, I got some nice things from friends and family. Mostly stuff from my lists but a few surprises.
- iBreeze for my laptop. ^_^
- Cash. Yaye!
- DVD's: Talladega Nights, Ice Age 2, Superman Returns, QAF season 5, Lost season 1, LOTR Trilogy (the new set with the new documentaries).
- A lovely necklace that was on my Wish-list from
daizalicious as well as some of the above mentioned DVD's
- Gift certificates to my favourite clothing stores
- Books: Something Blue and Baby Proof by Emily Giffin, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield
- $40 worth of Lindor Chocolates (the little round ones, my favourites in the whole wide world)
- Two tins of home made goodies that are so damn good made by
gremmie_goo
- Shampoo and conditioner (I was out)
- New toothbrush
- A lovely pink scarf with silver thread from Old Navy
And last but not least my dad got me two crystal figurines from Swarovski. He got me a marmot (I've named him Hector) and a dog that was already named, Robby. :) The dog is part of a set and it came with a little guide, there's an adorable snail that I want as well, so I told dad to get him for me for my birthday. :P

Date: 2006-12-27 11:13 pm (UTC)I love Swarovski crystal. It's so beautiful. We have a snowflake ornament they made a few years ago on our tree (my dad got it for me! yay for daddies) and it's honestly one of the most gorgeous pieces I've ever seen. We have one or two other little tiny things, too. It shimmers in the light and makes me happy. The doggy is too cute.
I keep hoping your present will get to you before New Year's (or next Christmas!), but the post is so sloooow. *brandishes spork*
