Drainage

Moe had his vet appointment today and it was an abscess like mum and I suspected. They had to knock him out and drain it. He currently has a tube in his shoulder to drain it and mum and I are hoping it's still there. He somehow managed to get the cone around his neck off and is now hiding under the bed. The vet said he'd like that in for three days or if he can't then one day. I guess we'll see. We also have to give him some antibiotics, orally, so mum and I will draw straws on how to do that.

At least we know he'll be OK, we take him back Monday to get a follow up. We haven't even had this cat two weeks and he's now cost us a $350+ vet bill, so mum and I won't be able to make rent at the end of the month. I hope our landlord will give us an extension on this months rent or something good will happen before then

I'm halfway through season 1 of BSG and am enjoying it a lot, Zip.ca also sent me the first disc of season 2, so I can begin to watch it as soon as I'm done with these.
