In other news mum and I have a new kitty. Sorta. His name is Tigger and he's just a young thing. He has a purple collar and bell and knocked over the bird bath. :P He's very friendly and I even picked him up and brought him inside where Tinkerbell decided to beat him up. I think he lives across the street a couple of houses down.
Tomorrow we get the trash and recycle picked up and I had to de-ice the recycle bucket because it gets so cold over night. I picked up a long piece of ice and then proceeded to drop it on my foot. Ice hurts! I was wearing sandals at the time so now I also have a small cut on my toe from it. Stupid ice.
No new Chuck or Heroes tonight. *sob*

Everything's covered in ice here, too. :/ Snow is pretty, but ice is just treacherous.

Date: 2007-12-11 01:27 am (UTC)Snow = love. Ice = ouch. I have this really intense fear of slipping that sometimes I just freeze up and I cannot move, that's why it's really hard for me to walk on ice or hard packed snow. It's one thing to slip and fall when you're having fun in the show, walking home from the bus... not so much.

Date: 2007-12-11 07:16 am (UTC)I totally understand the ice thing. Ice hurts, and I hate falling on anything. Forget that my coordination is lacking and thusly slippery surfaces make it much worse. Soft fluffy snow is the best, but it is evil when it freezes.
