moosewizard for pointing out the new out takes from the interview Pasdar gave to USA today. THEY'RE MAKING HEROES ACTION FIGURES!!!!!!!!
Oh man, you all know I'm getting my Petrelli action figures the second the come out. *cackles like a loon* I'll have to put them next to my LOTR figures. :P
[eta] OMG! X-FILES 2!!!!!!!! Yay! They're finally going to do it. :D
Oh, and I really love the Halloween strip on top of LJ. I wish I could keep it all year round.

Today I went to the dog park with my next door neighbour, Sebastian's mummy. Both of us are dogless, but we enjoyed watching everyone else. We met two pugs named Babett and Hamlet and they had matching collars. ^__^ We also met a kayaker whom had a special platform on this boat so that his dog could come along with him. It's such a smart idea and the doggie even had her own life vest, so I had to take a picture of them.
I finished reading The Time Traveller by H.G. Wells the other night. I never read it before and had always wanted to, so I picked up a cheap copy at the book store. I really loved it and found it fascinating how he viewed the world and the future.

I want to get my hair cut so badly, but it's been hard to set up an appointment with my hairdresser. I'm either working or when I'm off she's working at her other job. Garh! I'm just thinking of going to another salon and asking them to chop it all off. I'm tired of having it so long and I don't do anything with it, I have it back in a ponytail 90% of the time anyway.

I don't know why, but this post about SPN and the Emmy's just made me giggle. I mean, it's the Emmy's, it's all one big popularity contest and tv politics. SPN wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell in getting nominated. I'd love to see that happen, but I'm not holding my breath. I do honestly believe that Jensen deserves a nod, because he just embodies Dean and plays him so beautifully. All his flaws, vulnerabilities and strengths are just right out there and that's what makes Dean such an awesome character. That and Jensen is a great actor (and no, I'm not just saying that because I love the show and him :P).
There's also this rumour of Jensen being considered for the role of Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek movie. I honestly love this idea. I think it would be awesome and he would bring something totally new and fresh to the character. I may be in the minority because I've seen some oppose this idea, but I'm all for it. Plus Jensen and Zachary on screen together? FTW!!!!
How long does it usually take for people to get back to you after a job interview? Should I worry after about a week, a few days, what? I'm just curious to see what people have happened regarding that.
I need to go shopping for some new shoes. Like proper shoes. I have my flip flops, runners, work shoes and a couple of pairs of kinda funky shoes, but I need just a pair or two of just dressy casual shoes that I can wear with nice or causal outfits. Maybe next pay day I'll go to one of those discount shoe places. I wish we had DSW here though.
Speaking of shopping the Canadian dollar matched the US dollar yesterday. That has never happened in my life and I wish I had money and time to go to the states. Just thinking about going into Target, Hot Topic, JC Penny, DSW, Nordstrom ect. makes me drool. And I'd totally raid Barnes and Noble, because then I could get a crap load of books for the US price and not have to worry about the difference! Muahahaha!!! When I win the lotto this will happen.
