Staples is giving me $1400 for a new laptop. Unfortunately I can only get it as credit, so I can't cash it and go somewhere else and get a new computer. So, I can get a new computer or $1400 worth of pens.

They also won't give me back my old laptop, I figured they wouldn't, but they may not send it back to me just so I can get everything off of it. I might have to go all the way out to their service center and put everything on disk, or pay a tech $80 an hour to do it for me. Nothing is ever easy.

But doesn't staples have laptops? I mean I know they suck but why can't you get a new one there and if it breaks just take it somewhere else for repairs? Where's their service center?
And yeah, staples is evil. Canada needs Fry's!

Yeah, Staples has laptops, that's why they're giving me the credit to their store. That's where I got my old laptop. :) Their service center is about a 45 minute drive 2 hour bus ride away from me. :(

So...why don't you get the laptop there and then pitch a bitch fit for them to give you the information from your old one? Ok ok, easier said than done...lol
