Bunny Love

Today was better than yesterday. Managed not to cry at work today, so that was a plus. We had a guy come in who was a handwriting analyst. It was so cool, he was able to tell us things just from our handwriting. We all had our writing analysed and he said that I was sensitive to criticism (which can be true), I'm sarcastic (true) and I prefer to stay home and read books (also true). Kinda scary, especially what he said about some of my co-workers.

I'm thinking of buying a new pet. More specifically a fish. They had a bunch of fish at Wal*Mart and I dunno, I kinda want one. Just put it on my dresser and watch it float around. Very zen. Of course I'd get a bowl with a lid on it. Don't want any paws in the water, or teeth. Hell if I know what Pinky would do. I doubt she's seen a fish in her life.

Today mum caught a big grey kitty staring in our window, or to be more specific, at Coda. Dunno what he was making of her. LOL Anyway, Eowyn caught sight of the other kitty and went over to the window and they were nose to nose. Then all of a sudden the grey cat started hissing at Eowyn. Dunno what it's problem was. Eowyn was inside, it was outside. Maybe he was pissed because she was blocking his view.

This morning we woke up with about 5 inches of snow out in our yard. When I got home from work it was almost all gone. Mother Nature is sure gone screwy these past couple of days.

I bought a new scarf today at Wal*Mart. It was $1.

I have a funny metallicy/bitter taste in my mouth. I'm dying. I know I am. Or not.

Today was my first day back at work after having a week off. I had mixed feeling about going back. I'm still not feeling 100% and I wish I could rest and get better, but then again I really need the money and I was starting to go a bit nutty here at home. It was alright, but I did feel pretty shitty by the time my shift finished. Tomorrow I work the late shift, so I get to sleep in, but I'll miss Lost :( But that's why we invented VCR's (I really need a DVD-R recorder or something).

I watched my second episode of Supernatural tonight. I'm starting to enjoy it. Cute boys and creepy things. I can handle that.

Today was... long, but good. I got 100% on my till training. Again, please contain your joy. First part of the day was goofing off with P at Inkjet, then goofing around with A and S at Crackbucks. And I must say, I'm happy. We went over how to close tonight (yeah, closing is never fun no matter what you do), but you gotta learn it. A was a real sweetie and offered to drive me home.

I also took advantage of my employee discount! I got 3 green sparkly travel mugs that were already reduced by 50% then I got my employee discount. Discounts are gooood.

As I was walking to Subway to get my dinner, I came to realize what time of year it really is (shut up, I know the date). But it's that time of year when the air is getting colder and everything is starting to turn, and as the sun sets earlier the light gets weaker and yeah. I can't really describe it to you in words, but I just love it. I went in an hour before my shift started so I just sat in one of the big squashy chairs and read Shopaholic Ties the Knot. I love that book Plus I got a free drink, so that made everything even better.

I remember when I was younger I was watching The Goonies on a fall day and was just snuggled in in the family room watching the sun set while Chunk was doing his belly dance. I miss my old house. :(

Ahhh, memories. Ok, you're probably all reading this and thinking I'm a complete wack job. I am, but you're probably think that I'm more right now. Hah.

I went in to Claires today to look at wrist bands and sweat bands to help cover my tattoo's. I bought a couple of plain black bracelets and a sweat band striped with purple, blue and green. They'll serve their purpose for now. They had some really cute things in.

Has anyone read the book Derailed? The movie looks interesting, but I was wondering if anyone had read the book and if it was worth it? I saw it as I walked in earlier. Ahhh, the joys of working inside a book store.

Note to self: Look for Daisy's book on the shelf.

I meant to do this earlier today, but I had a shift at 8am and I was supposed to get off at 11 but didn't get off until 12:30, THEN I had to go to regional and sit for 5 hours learning about coffee. Sorry if it's a little late. I didn't forget! *muah*

Tonight I tasted straight up coffee for the first time. I've never before have drunk straight coffee. I've always gotten mixed coffee drinks, and my total for drinking mixed coffee drinks is under 5. So yeah, I am not a coffee drinker. We had to taste 4 different Crackbucks blends and some of them were ok (remember I don't know jack about it) and some just made me gag. It's funny, because after doing the testing everything seemed more brighter and clearer and yeah. Buzzzzzzzz.... LOL There was a girl there who's name was Twinkle. I shit you not. Twinkle. Her given and legal name. That's a new one.

4 coffee's down, 22 more to go. O.o I have to test them all.

Where was I?

OH YES! Daisy had her first book signing at B&N earlier tonight, AND THEY SOLD OUT OF HER BOOK! The manager said nothing like that has ever happened at her store. WAY TO GO, WOMAN!!!! *squish*

Dad phoned me up this morning and told me that he watched you on The Today Show. He was very impressed and loved what you made. I also showed mum and she was so happy for you! As she should be. :)

My head is itchy.

Caffeine starting to wear off now... feeling tired.
