Speaking of Fandom, I would just love to have this. Too bad the auction doesn't last until I get paid or can save up for it. Ah well. maybe I'll make my own?

I'm thinking of designing a new spring layout for my LJ. It's such a nice day out and while I love my Dark Angel layout I think I need something spring like.

I had a very nice afternoon with my dad. I went to the mall the return a couple of Christmas pressies (the duplicates I got). I returned one of the books dad got me and got Wicked and Inkspell. Then we went out to Horseshoe Bay and had lunch, so it was nice.

I'm getting the itch to make a new layout, but of what? I'm thinking Dark Angel or maybe Lost.

The sun finally came out today. After 26 days of rain I'd forgotten what the hell it felt like. Ah, Vancouver how I love thee.

shannytook, I got your card and photos today. Thank you so so so much, really that made me smile (and cry). You didn't have to, but you did. I would totally love to be pen pals with ya. :)

Work was just non stop today. I'm so happy to be home. Now I'm just going to wrap the few presents I have for people and watch Dark Angel. Damn that show for getting me addicted all over again.

I also need a beta for an NCIS fic that I've written. It's for ncis_tinsel and I have to post it on the 1st, so if anyone would do that for me before the 1st that would be great. It's not that long (approx. 1000 words) and is PG-13, Gibbs/DiNozzo. Thanks!

In other news: ORLANDO IS UNCUT!!!

Last night I was closing with G and I offered him a ride home (well actually my mum was picking me up, you get the picture). Anyway, after waiting for about 20 minutes my mum still hasn't shown up and it's getting to be 10:30. I would have called her, but my lovely phone provider has cut off my service because they want about $500 in back payments (I've been paying what I can! Bastards). Anyway, he goes into the pub next door to call his brother, but his brother is out, so what he does is leave me to catch the bus and wait for my mum a little longer. BUT! What he does is he takes the bus home, gets his car and comes back to pick me up! How sweet was that? I mean really, he could have just left me to wait for my mum all night or take a cab, but he goes home and comes back at like 11 pm just to give me a ride home! I was very touched. :) The reason mum didn't pick me up was because she fell asleep.

Nothing much to say except that I've been working. Mum's been freaking out about a) money b) Christmas c) everything else under the sun, so it's been a bit stressful.

Last night Eowyn decided to sleep on my legs. Cats are great leg warmers.
